Floors are subject to a great deal of wear and tear during daily use. Therefore, acoustic underlayments must withstand the daily stresses of use for the entire duration of their service life. The point pressure stability is a decisive parameter here. This is expressed as a CS value in kPa.
According to the MMFA (Verband der mehrschichtigen modularen Fußbodenbeläge e.V.), a minimum requirement of ≧ 200 kPa and an upper requirement of ≧ 400 kPa apply with regard to the point pressure stability of SPC vinyl floors.
In order to ensure the outstanding quality of our products, only acoustic underlayments with an increased CS value of ≧ 400 kPa are allowed for our SPC vinyl floors. If acoustic underlayments with a lower CS value are used, we do not accept any responsibility for damage and breakage of our flooring and the corresponding joining system.
